Lifetime ISA (LISA)
A Lifetime ISA is an account for people aged 18 to 39 that earns a government bonus on savings used for a first home or retirement.
Also known as: Lifetime ISA, LISA
You can pay in up to an annual limit and receive a 25% bonus. Withdrawing for any other reason incurs a charge that can leave you with less than you paid in.
The property price cap and other rules apply, so check GOV.UK before opening one.
Free, impartial guidance is available from MoneyHelper and Pension Wise. Be wary of any unsolicited offers about your pension or investments.
